Privacy
What this site collects.
Short version: a message if you send me one, and anonymous analytics if you agree to them. Nothing is sold, and there's no mailing list.
The contact form
If you fill in the form, you give me your name, your email address and whatever you write in the message. I use it to reply to you and for nothing else.

Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics, and only if you accept it. Nothing loads and no cookie is set until you click Accept. Decline and none of it runs at all.
What it measures:
- Which of the screens you reached, and how far down you got
- Which of the four doors you clicked, and which links took you off the site
- Which of the five worked examples you opened, and whether you used the calculator
- Roughly where in the world you are, and what kind of device you're on
It doesn't tell me who you are. If you type numbers into the calculator, those stay in your browser and are never sent anywhere. I don't run ads and there's no advertising tracking on this site.

Your choice is stored in your own browser, not on a server. Clearing your browser data resets it.
Everything else
| Fonts | The type is loaded from Google Fonts, so Google sees the request your browser makes for it. That happens whether or not you accept analytics. |
| Hosting | The site is hosted by DreamHost, whose servers keep standard access logs. |
| Links out | The Cooks Hand, Instagram, my photography site, LinkedIn and Amazon are separate properties with their own privacy terms. Once you click through, this page stops applying. |
| Children | This site isn't aimed at children and doesn't knowingly collect anything from them. |
Asking me about your data
You can ask what I hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask me to delete it. Use the form on the site and say so. I'll come back to you in a couple of days.
